🛠️ Application Area

The MSTKN socket holders were specifically developed for industrial applications with high demands on safety, process control, and robustness.
They provide guided operator handling as well as precise tool monitoring—directly integrated into your Profibus-DP infrastructure.

🔧 Function & Control

The Profibus socket tray communicates as a Profibus-DP slave at up to 12 Mbit/s.
Depending on the configuration, two operating modes are available:

1. Intelligent mode (2 byte I/O)

  • Simple control via standard I/Os
  • Operator guidance via LED (red, yellow, green)
  • Feedback on whether a tool was correctly removed

2. Direct I/O mode (1 byte per slot)

  • Direct access to sensors and LEDs
  • Individual LED control for each slot
  • Precise status query per slot
