The USB RGB Key was developed specifically for use in industrial environments. Power is supplied and the PC connection is made via a Buckaneer mini USB connector (screw-on). The RGB Key can be assigned an address via the USB connection or it can be addressed via broadcast. The LED ring can be used to display the status to the operator or to indicate an input request. Data exchange always consists of 64 bytes (send/receive) and always has the same structure: address, command, length, and data. All RGB colors can be transmitted to the RGB key for all 12 LEDs, even for each LED separately. The button function sends a byte activated/not activated.
